Mobile Primary Healthcare units for Ukraine

Since the start of the war in Ukraine, we have received loads of request on what we can deliver when it comes to healthcare solutions. They all want it quick, rather yesterday than tomorrow.  BRF, Boat Refugee Foundation saw the need for help in Ukraine and could not turn their eyes away. Despite their name specificaly referring to boat refugees, they are in the humanitarian field for only one reason, refugees. No matter where they come from, no matter where they are going.

After some quick talks and discussions, the best option for this specific project would be to have it as fast as possible and also as mobile as possible to go with the flow of refugees. Together we decided to deliver two mobile medical units, for Primary Health Care (PHC). These units are placed on a truck that has a water and power supply to make sure that wherever they go, they can perform the services required. Next to the two PHC’s is also a HIB, Hospitainer Inflatable Building, that will suffice as a triage and staff area, but it also provides some extra space for some beds.
