The clinical laboratory for infectious diseases contains an isolator/ biosafety level 3 cabinet, emergency shower, eye shower, sink, samples refrigerator, sterilizer, PCR Analyzer, laptop, centrifuge and all necessary consumables to perform viral disease testing in areas affected by infectious diseases like Ebola, Zika and Corona.
Isolation is very important in controlling infectious diseases. In the Medivac container, two patients can be isolated. The unit is designed for areas where cross-infection should be avoided at all costs (for example in hard to reach areas). The patients can be isolated in the Medivac before transport to a specialised hospital is arranged.
The Laboratory Trailer for infectious diseases can easily be driven to the affected area. Two water tanks of 800 liter each (potable and wastewater) and a generator make the labaratory a stand alone unit. The laboratory trailer can be extended by a tent, which can be used as changing and disinfection room for laboratory workers, doctors and nurses.
Hospitainer has developed an Infectious Diseases Treatment Unit for isolated patients. The basic Treatment Unit contains 12 till 18 bed wards, a staff room, a storage room and a corridor. The unit is modular and extendable to tailor local needs.
The Hospitainer Dental Unit is developed to provide general oral care. The 20ft shipping container is transformed into a medical facility and comes fully furnished with equipment and consumables. Due to its low-cost-components Hospitainer hopes to promote a greater coverage of oral health care, especially in underdeveloped countries.
The Hospitainer Mobile Dental Surgical Unit is developed to facilitate oral and maxillofacial surgery. The dental unit is a high quality medical product in a 40ft standard shipping container that consists of an dental room, operation room and sterilization room. The mobility of the dental unit allows the medical provider to cover large areas.
One of the biggests international NGOs reached out to Hospitainer with a request for medical tents that could be delivered on very short notice. They needed to expand their existing clinic. This NGO has several clinics in disaster areas in the Middle East. This particular clinic needed an extra pre- and post operation unit for patient care before and after surgeries.
