In many developing countries, access to oral health services is limited and teeth are often left untreated causing pain and discomfort. Traditional treatment of oral disease is extremely costly, leaving many in need of oral health care. Hospitainer has developed a range of mobile and modular dental units. With low-cost components and focus on robust materials we hope to support medical providers to tackle the burden of disease and make oral health care more available.
The mobile primary health care (PHC) clinic is specifically developed to reach people who don’t have acces to primary health care.
The Hospitainer Dental Unit is developed to provide general oral care. The 20ft shipping container is transformed into a medical facility and comes fully furnished with equipment and consumables. Due to its low-cost-components Hospitainer hopes to promote a greater coverage of oral health care, especially in underdeveloped countries.
The Hospitainer Mobile Dental Surgical Unit is developed to facilitate oral and maxillofacial surgery. The dental unit is a high quality medical product in a 40ft standard shipping container that consists of an dental room, operation room and sterilization room. The mobility of the dental unit allows the medical provider to cover large areas.
For the Middle East we delivered 2 dental units. These mobile health units are situated in a 20ft container on a truck. This 20ft medical container is designed to perform general oral health care such as extraction of teeth, scaling and root planing, endodontic root canal treatment and preventative measures for gum diseases.
