First patient received by Mercy Ships in Madagascar

A milestone for the Mercy Ships team in Madagascar! Mercy Ships has received its very first patient at its operations in Toamasina, Madagascar. The 10-month-old Anjara has been helped with a bilateral cleft lip in the African Mercy. You can find Mercy Ships’ full article through this link.

Hospitainer has set up the dockside station in the harbor of Toamasina, Madagascar, where the African Mercy is doing its field service. In the dockside station, departments are focussing on eye care, pre/post-OT, rehabilitation, and outpatient services. More information on the dockside station can be found here.
