Arrival Hospitainer for Comprehensive Maternal Care in Gaza

One of our solutions for United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has recently been delivered to the UK-Med Field Hospital in Al Mawasi, Gaza.

The 40-foot container is fully equipped to provide comprehensive emergency obstetric and newborn care (CEMONC). Next to vaginal deliveries, C-sections can be performed in the clinic. The clinic has a recovery room and a fully-equipped operating theatre. Additionally, the unit is prepared for providing care for newborns and has, amongst others, an incubator.

We hope many women can get the healthcare they need in the clinic, and wish all the best for the brave staff of UK-Med and partners working in the facility.
